THE PROCESS
Your wedding experience begins right here- with communication and connection! I want to make sure we're a great fit to work together (I will spend the most time with you on your day), so we'll talk about your love story and you'll get to learn a little about me. On the call, I will work one on one with you to work out the important details of your day and what makes you a couple. I want to know all about your day so I can capture it authentically and intentionally through the eyes of the two of you! Throughout your future memories and beyond your wedding day, I am committed to being more than just your wedding day photographer. And the first step to this is an in depth consultation.
Time to secure your date and become an official member of the DMP wedding family! I will send over a customized contract and and an invoice for your retainer and once those two things are completed, its official! Welcome to the DMP wedding family. I want to give my couples the best and the most personal experience through out the process all the way through so I will check in and we will talk every so often leading up to your amazing day. And because I studied wedding planning in college, you can think of me as another resource to help you plan!
When we start planning your engagement session, you will receive a link to create your mood board, think of this as a way of making your engagement session dreams come true. Include anything that has caught your eye for your engagement session, this could be a location you loved, an outfit idea. Customize it to you! We will work together and create the engagement session that speaks to you as a couple! During your session, I will help you get comfortable in front of the camera, we will spend some time getting to know each other better, and of course – take photos that celebrate your love! After the engagement session we will discuss about how you envision these photos in your everyday lives during a live premier of your photos.
There are a lot of details that go into a wedding day, and I want to make sure I know about every single one that goes into what makes your day! We will discuss all of these important details – from wedding day timelines to a must-have family shot list and everything in between. About one month out from your wedding date (or sooner if you prefer) I will send over a questionnaire and we will hop on a call to finalize your wedding day photography timeline.
This day is all about you two! You've put in the time and work to make it as unique as your love story so every single second of it should be enjoyed! Leave it to me to capture every emotion, moment, and detail so you can look back on this joyous day forever! Wedding days can be chaos (in a good way) and tend to fly be so quick so don't be surprised if ask you two to sneak away for some amazing golden hour portraits and for you two to take a moment to just take it all in. You should expect to see a small preview of the wedding day within 72 hours of your amazing day!
Your fully-edited wedding gallery will be ready within 8 -10 weeks of your wedding date and then we will setup a a gallery premier so that you can relive such an amazing day! Pop some champagne, sit back, relax and be instantly transported back to your day and those emotions that you felt throughout the day. I would recommend grabbing a few tissues, you know, just in case. After the premier, you'll get to view an album designed for you and we will talk about how to further preserve your wedding day memories. After all, these are your first heirlooms as a family and they deserve to live beyond the screen and be displayed on the walls in the house that will become a home.
