Tell us about the biggest wedding jitters. You’re not alone in anticipating rain on your wedding day; we’re all worried about it. The beauty of outdoor wedding and event venues is unrivaled. Many couples, especially those organizing outdoor activities, are worried that even a drizzle would ruin the event, and you might be thinking, “What if it rains on the wedding day?” after you’ve booked it. Don’t be discouraged by a few stray raindrops.
The weather on your wedding day will be the last thing on your mind after all these years. Rain is probably the least remarkable thing you can remember on your wedding day when you’re marrying the love of your life for the rest of your life. Rain will become a lasting memory of your wedding; consider it a blessing shower for you and your partner.
After Rain Memories
October 18, 2020, Nikki and Patrick got married at The Reserve at Fat Bottom Brewing. We were concerned about the weather because the rain had been forecasted all day, and it rained all day until their ceremony. The sky was clear and the sun rose brightly when it was time for the ceremony.
Nikki walked down the aisle with her grandfather in her beautiful and elegant wedding gown, and they paused for a moment before he gave her away to remember her grandmother, who had passed away; it was a sweet, touching moment.
Patrick and Nikki chose not to have a first look, so when he saw Nikki walking down the aisle, he teared up and had the sweetest expression to seeing his beautiful bride for the first time that day. We captured their after-ceremony portraits in front of The Reserve at Fat Bottom Brewing, where the couple expressed joy and love, as well as a collection of sweet kiss photos.
Everyone was bubbly as they entered the reception, and the entourage expressed excitement and happiness as they walked in. Patrick’s parents were having a great time on the dance floor, and everyone enjoyed it.
Because one of their wedding guests was unable to have their wedding due to Covid-19, Nikki and Patrick surprised this couple by playing their wedding dance song so that they could have their first dance.
Aside from the couple’s three-tiered chic cake, the groom’s cake was Titans-themed because Patrick is a huge Titans fan.
Instead of sparklers, they chose a bubble exit, and Nikki changed into a stunning blush pink gown at the end of the reception.
Perfectly Brewed In Nashville
Ben Bredesen’s ultimate ambition was to own and run his own business, his love for the art and history of brewing beer. He realized that unless he turned his homebrewing hobby into a full-time job, he wouldn’t be satisfied. He began Fat Bottom Brewing in 2011 after renting a room in East Nashville.
Fat Bottom Brewing Company first opened its doors in August of 2012, and it soon became a community favorite as East Nashville’s first brewery. Ben developed the recipes during his time as a homebrewer, and they were scaled up to suit the newly built 15 barrel brewhouse. Fat Bottom Brewing expanded and with the help of master brewer Drew Yeager from UC Davis who had previously worked at Dogfish Head, was hired to take over the brewing process, allowing Ben to concentrate on growing the business.
The transition from the East to the Westside started after four years of operation. From a 5000-square-foot facility to a 33,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility. Ben replied with one word, “Quality,” when asked about the project’s vision. This wasn’t about saving time or money; it was about a commitment to making the best beer possible.
