I adore all kinds of love, and love truly knows no bounds. A beautiful photograph of a couple’s love is a lovely way to remember their connection. Capturing every moment creates priceless memories. Like we always say, these images are tangible memories that you can keep for a lifetime. Your photographs are fantastic no matter who you are or where you are.

Today’s article and engagement session is something amazing, but the love they shared is nevertheless the same. It’s all worth it!

The Inspiring Engagement Session

It was a one-of-a-kind engagement session. Taylor found me through a Facebook group and wanted to book me for her and Macy’s July 2022 wedding. We hit it off right away on the initial consult and when we discussed their engagement session and decided to hold it in June.

In June, I flew out to Houston, TX, to meet them both and photograph their engagement photos. It was a wonderful day with a good vibe—a burst of plentiful sunshine perfect for extraordinary images. Taylor and Macy are two of the most relaxed and approachable people I’ve ever encountered. 

We spent the afternoon going around to places that meant a lot to them and their relationship. We started the session at her mom’s house, where we included their dogs in the session. They have two beautiful dogs that make it more picture-perfect for the couple. The couple’s natural beauty and genuine love sparkled through in their photos. I enjoy photographing them as they relax, connect, and reveal their true selves to the camera. 

In addition, hand-holding is lovely to display two lovers’ closeness. Holding hands would have most likely been the first thing the pair did together after they started dating. Put your hands together in basic ways, and you may feel that first touch again. 

We then went to a family member’s house, where the backyard was a destination in and of itself. It was a beautiful backyard that could use to make romantic memories. The couple had a great time taking their portraits. We shared a lot of fun, and they are completely head over heels with each other.   The last place we went was to a small neighborhood with a cute dock area where her father owned a building. We finished the session with a champagne pop. A bottle of sparkling champagne to cheer for their upcoming wedding. 

I will travel back to Texas to capture their fantastic wedding day in July. It is an excellent opportunity for me to meet again this incredible couple wearing their beautiful smiles and excitement. I’m excited to see them again and be part of their big day.
