DAZZLING BLACK WHITE WEDDING! How does this sound like that? A black, white wedding filled with elegance. The color combination of black and white is perfect for fall and winter weddings because it evokes a deep festive feeling. These colors will add an elegant touch to your wedding. It’s a classic color scheme that will never go out of style and is both sophisticated and modern. The wedding motif of black and white will easily be incorporated into the dress code. Bridesmaid dresses in black are the epitome of beauty. These longer gowns are more appropriate for a formal or evening wedding. To match the charming ambiance of the venue, Blair and Austin decided to have a romantic black white wedding. On October 3, 2020, Blair and Austin were married at Cascata Springs, Lewisburg, Tennessee. It was a crisp, cool fall day that turned into a lovely fall night.

The Majestic Venue

The wedding took place at Cascata Springs, which has a magnificent view of weddings throughout the year. Cascata Springs offers Sunset lanai, a wonderful event space perfect for ceremonies and receptions with archways that highlight the lake and the stunning sunset, to begin and end with the ceremony. Another spot to consider is The Ground, which features a lake, springs, bridges, walkways with string lights, a wooded ceremony site, a massive beech tree ceremony site, and a spectacular waterfall.

Cascata Springs has a suite and a quarter room for the bride and groom. For the bride, the Love Suite, with its antique furniture, shiplap, and mirrors, is reached through a large piece of spiral stairs. With a lovely lounge room, master suite, a clawfoot tub in the master bath, and a large relaxing balcony overlooking the waterfall and the lake. While the Groom, Quarters room is large and comfortable, with a large living area and a poker room.

The three-layered cake with black petals and white roses added to the ambiance, making it feel wonderful and fresh. The spacious reception area encourages everyone to dance and have a lot of fun.

The Precious Moments

Blair and Austin chose an unplugged ceremony so that everyone could fully immerse themselves at the moment. Due in part to the pandemic, Covid-19, the wedding was smaller, and several people were unable to attend in person but were present in spirit.

Blair chose to have a “first look” with her soon-to-be husband on the morning of their wedding, breaking with the tradition of not seeing each other until the bride walks down the aisle to spend some time together before heading to the ceremony. Austin’s expression when he saw her soon-to-be-wife was priceless.

Blair and Austin played the shoe game at the party to see how well they knew each other. Attending their wedding celebrations, guests had a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment of the celebrations. When it came time to exit with the sparklers, we found that they had been stolen, so we had to improvise. Fortunately, the venue owner had some extras.

As I photograph their precious day, the beauty of nature, as well as a lovely couple, are making great memories. With their bridesmaid and groomsmen who look so gorgeous as the camera captures their beautiful smiles.
